Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Sales and Operations Management Trainee in Jessup, MD. You will use your degree to run a business, solve problems for customers, and learn Penske processes across sales, operations, finance and customer service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business or Marketing is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience in a customer-facing role preferred.
• Detail-oriented with good time-management skills.
• Valid driver’s license required with ability to drive Penske vehicles (including 26’ box truck).
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential.
• DOT driving requirements may apply; background checks and drug screens may be requested.
• Willingness to travel within the district.

Responsibilities

• Develop consumer and commercial customer solutions for local and national accounts, including Fortune 500 prospects.
• Manage a large inventory of vehicles to balance fleet productivity, profitability and customer satisfaction.
• Generate new business leads and strengthen existing customer relationships.
• Ensure complete customer satisfaction in a fast-paced environment.
