Job summary

Weidner Apartment Homes is seeking a Manager in Training (MIT). The MIT will learn to operate and maintain a high-value asset, lead a team, and drive financial success through budgeting, leasing, and customer service excellence.

The role emphasizes hands-on training across operations, payroll, recruitment, vendor relations, and community marketing to support resident retention and property performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in property management or related field or 7+ years of management experience required.
• Proven ability to work in fast-paced environment and contribute daily.
• Experience with property management software (Yardi) and payroll systems (Paycom) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Learn to consistently meet monthly income and expense budgets for the community.
• Assist with pre-move out inspections and timely make-readies with maintenance staff.
• Review monthly financial performance and set strategy to meet budgets and manage expenses.
