Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a responsible, motivated General Manager Trainee to learn how to manage a moving and storage center. You will supervise inventory, maintain equipment, and ensure excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment.

The program emphasizes hands-on training and progression into leadership roles within the company. Responsibilities include managing a fleet, tracking assets, and upholding safety and security standards while participating in ongoing training through U-Haul

Qualifications

• Must show leadership capabilities and ability to manage a moving/storage center operations.
• Experience in retail or service industries with responsibility for financial results and customer satisfaction.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Manage the fleet to ensure equipment is clean and well-maintained.
• Track and itemize inventory and handle supply levels.
• Ensure high-quality customer care and efficient service at the center.
• Maintain fuel receipts and petty cash; monitor premises for safety and security.
• Participate in on-the-job training through U-Haul University and related programs.
