Job summary

U-Haul in Plano, TX is looking for a General Manager Trainee to learn how to run a moving and storage center. You will oversee inventory, manage equipment, and ensure customers receive top care while problems are solved quickly.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of management experience in retail or another service industry with responsibility for financial results and customer satisfaction.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with profit and loss (P&L) accountability is a plus.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record required.

Responsibilities

• Manage the fleet to deliver clean and well-maintained equipment.
• Track and itemize inventory.
• Ensure that customers receive the highest quality of care.
• Keep track of fuel receipts and petty cash.
• Clean and monitor the premises, and maintain a secure environment.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
