Job summary

ASR International Corp in Pasadena, TX is seeking a contractor Picker/Receiver (Water Spider) to support warehouse operations, performing picking, receiving, and material movement with high accuracy. This role requires forklift experience, a HS diploma, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

The schedule is 7:00 AM–3:45 PM, Monday–Friday, with overtime as needed. The position is a contract up to 12 months with potential extension.

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 months of warehouse, receiving, picking, or related experience.
• Previous forklift operation experience required.
• Experience with receiving and picking transactions preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to regularly lift and/or move up to 20 lbs.
• Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand, walk, and move throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced and sometimes noisy warehouse environment.
• Must be a US citizen or permanent resident.

Responsibilities

• Perform picking and receiving transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Read and comprehend work instructions, correspondence, and memos.
• Maintain basic written documentation and communication as required.
• Utilize basic math skills for inventory and material handling tasks.
• Operate a computer and perform basic PC-related functions.
• Safely operate a forklift to load and unload freight.
• Support material movement throughout the warehouse as needed.
• Adhere to all safety, quality, and operational procedures.
