Job summary

Kenco Group in Livermore, CA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to pick and pack orders, label and inspect products, and prepare shipments for various carriers. You may operate a forklift or order picker as needed and support inventory accuracy and quality inspections on a daily basis.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, basic computer skills, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Prior warehouse experience is preferred and background check will be conducted.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year of experience in a warehouse or distribution environment preferred.
• Basic computer skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Pass Background and Drug Screen.
• Able to complete physical tasks (stooping, walking, lifting up to 50lbs).

Responsibilities

• Pick orders for shipment, ensuring the correct number and type of product is loaded.
• Measure, weigh, and count products and materials.
• May operate a forklift or order picker for picking orders.
• Pack orders for shipments by parcel, LTL, and TL carriers.
• Record product, packaging, and order information on forms and records.
• Affix proper shipping and tracking labels to boxes and pallets per regulations.
• Report missing items or quality variances to supervisor.
• Ensure outbound shipments are accurate and undamaged.
• Inspect containers, materials, and products to ensure packing specs are met.
• Participate in Inventory/Cycle Count as needed.
• Maintain clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Ensure facility is inspection ready for SQFI, FDA, and customer needs.
• Communicate and report incidents.
• May perform housekeeping duties.
• Miscellaneous tasks as assigned by Supervisor.
