Job summary

Priority Wire & Cable is seeking a Warehouse Associate I in Glendale Heights, IL to support warehouse operations. You will operate cutting equipment, use RF scanners and handheld devices to process orders, and assist with local will-call orders, shipping, and receiving.

Highlights include a 1st or 2nd shift (Mon-Fri 8:00am–5:00pm or 3:00pm–12:00am) with overtime potential, and a strong benefits package including health, dental, and vision coverage.

Qualifications

• Candidate must be 18 years or older and able to understand and adhere to all job requirements and safety guidelines.
• Previous wire & cable experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Work at a fast pace and be flexible to work overtime as needed.
• Regular and reliable attendance is essential due to in-person work requirements.
• Have access to reliable transportation to and from work.
• Operate cutting equipment to process wire and cable orders for shipping.
• Use RF scanners, iPads, and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders for shipping.
• Assist customers with local will-call orders.
• Build, wrap, sort and transport reels, pallets, and packages.
• Ship and receive truck deliveries.
