Job summary

Les Schwab Tire Centers in Portland, Oregon, is seeking a Sales & Service associate for tire installation, maintenance and sales. You will handle tire/wheel installation, repair, rotation, TPMS calibration, and customer service in a fast-paced shop environment.

The full-time role pays $16.50–$26.45 per hour with benefits including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, retirement plan, paid time off, disability, employee discount and tuition assistance.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license required.
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to work in a rapid pace environment.
• Frequent lifting of weight between 35-75 pounds.
• Frequent bending, twisting, kneeling and continuous squatting, reaching, walking and standing.

Responsibilities

• Installation and maintenance of tires and wheels
• Repairing, rotating, and inflating tires
• Attaching and rebalancing wheels
• Installing/rebuilding and/or relearning/calibrating TPMS
• Washing tires and wheels
• Testing and installing batteries
• Using and maintenance of equipment
• Assisting other employees
• Test driving vehicles
• Operating service vehicles to perform offsite and emergency road services
• Provides excellent customer service, promotes store sales; uses the Best Tire Value Promise to engage customers
