Job summary

Lidl US is hiring Store Associates to keep the store running smoothly across checkout, stocking, bakery, produce, and weekly promotions in a fast-paced, customer‑focused environment. You’ll work in a team, follow efficiency standards, serve customers, maintain cleanliness, handle returns, and help ensure accurate signage and pricing while delivering a positive shopping experience.

Starting pay is $20.50 per hour with benefits including 401(k), PTO, health coverage, and DailyPay.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn multiple roles quickly.
• Effective, friendly, and professional communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to lift up to 45 lbs. and reach overhead.

Responsibilities

• Engage customers with friendly, efficient service that makes their trip easy and leaves them excited to shop at Lidl again.
• Seamlessly transition between checkout, stocking, and specialized areas like bakery or produce to meet real-time store needs.
• Meet productivity goals by working with urgency and following Lidl’s processes, including pallet-to-shelf stocking.
• Execute daily freshness checks in produce and chilled areas, ensuring items meet Lidl’s quality standards.
• Set up and organize non-food promotional displays and weekly offers with strong presentation, signage, and pricing.
• Keep the store clean across sales floor, restrooms, warehouse, and parking lot.
• Create a smooth checkout experience by operating the register quickly and accurately, memorizing PLUs.
• Handle customer inquiries, process returns, and resolve or escalate issues.
• Help keep inventory accurate and minimize stock loss by following inventory controls.
• Ensure a safe environment by following all safety procedures and guidelines.
• Work with the team to complete daily tasks on time for the next shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
