Blue Loon Bakery in New London, NH is hiring a Sandwich Station/Prep Cook to join our small, close-knit team. You will craft breakfast and lunch items, assemble sandwiches, quiches, salads, soups, and more, while maintaining quality and presentation.

We value pride in food and a strong work ethic. The role requires 1 year of experience, knife skills, and availability on weekends and early mornings; you’ll work in a fast-paced kitchen and support the team to keep service smooth.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role or in a food preparation environment.
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail, with a commitment to ensuring every product meets our quality standards.
• The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen, including strong knife skills, experience working on a made-to-order cook line, and the ability to follow written recipes.
• A team-oriented mindset with excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work weekends and early morning shifts is required.

Responsabilités

• Preparing ingredients with precision and care to ensure freshness and quality for dine-in, take-out, and catering orders.
• Assemble, cook, and package a variety of menu items—including sandwiches, quiches, salads, soups, parfaits, and more—while maintaining our high standards for quality and presentation.
• Prepare made-to-order breakfast and lunch items efficiently while maintaining consistency and quality.
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace, adhering to food safety and hygiene protocols.
• Collaborating with the team to ensure smooth kitchen operations during busy hours.
• Assisting with other kitchen tasks as needed to support the bakery team.
