Job summary

University of North Texas Dining Services is seeking dependable hourly Dining Associates to support daily operations across UNT Retail Dining locations in Denton. You will assist with front-of-house and back-of-house tasks to ensure a smooth, friendly guest experience.

Ideal candidates are reliable and enjoy fast-paced environments. Previous food service or customer service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided. Flexible hours with a 0.48 FTE schedule are available.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of food service, sanitation, and safety practices.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions with attention to detail.
• Reliability, punctuality, and ability to work in a fast-paced team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve food and beverages following recipes and quality standards.
• Greet guests, take and fulfill orders, operate POS systems, and maintain professional demeanor.
• Maintain food safety standards, clean workstations, and follow health procedures.
• Stock dining areas, wash dishes, and keep dining and kitchen spaces organized.
• Support daily operations across UNT Retail Dining locations as needed.
