Job summary

Pizza Hut is seeking Production Team Members to join a fast-paced kitchen environment in Destrehan, LA. Earn $9.00–$10.00 per hour working with a great team to prepare quality food and deliver it to guests.

Responsibilities include following recipes, operating kitchen equipment, and maintaining sanitation. Training is provided; opportunities for advancement exist within the restaurant group.

Qualifications

• Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred, but not required.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
• Ability to follow recipes, procedures, and instructions consistently.
• Strong attention to food quality, cleanliness, and food safety.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Ability to safely work around hot ovens, fryers, cooking equipment, hot surfaces, and hot food products.

Responsibilities

• Prepare Pizza Hut menu items according to recipes, procedures, and brand standards.
• Prepare pizzas, wings, sides, and other menu items accurately and efficiently.
• Prepare dough, sauces, toppings, and other ingredients as assigned.
• Follow proper portioning and product-build procedures.
• Operate ovens, fryers, and other commercial restaurant equipment safely.
• Monitor cooking times and ensure products meet quality standards.
• Cut, package, and prepare completed orders for guests and delivery.
• Verify orders for accuracy and presentation.
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and proper food-handling procedures.
