Job summary

The Yacht Club in New York, NY is seeking a Dishwasher / Porter to support our back-of-house team with cleanliness and sanitation of the kitchen and service areas. You will work in a fast-paced environment, with day and night shifts, and the role offers competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Ability to work in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
• Ability to walk, stand, and bend continuously.
• Able to lift 50+ lbs.
• Able to work nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Polished personal presentation per policy.
• Willingness to work outdoors.
• Positive attitude and teamwork.
• Must have working proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize all glassware and china.
• Follow sanitation standards and health protocols; observe safety practices.
• Follow Company safety plan and training materials.
• Dispose of all trash from kitchen and service areas.
• Exercise sound judgement balancing safety and customer needs.
• Keep work area neat and clean to meet DOH standards.
• Maintain cleanliness of storage and back-of-house areas.
• Perform daily cleaning tasks as directed.
• Report to work in a neat and clean uniform; maintain hygiene as required.
• Set up and breakdown station to specification; clean after service.
• Clean and stock bathrooms.
• Work with venues on DOH compliance.
