Job summary

Catamount Ski is seeking a Food Cashier to sell food and beverage items using a computerized register system. You will assist customers in choosing items, know the menu and pricing, and apply discounts and promotions.

Responsibilities include handling cash/credit transactions, managing till, and keeping the service area clean. Weekend and holiday shifts may be required, with a focus on friendly service and accurate billing.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in selecting and purchasing food & beverages.
• Know all menu items, pricing and availability.
• Know discounts, promotions and daily pricing.
• Verify customers paid correct price for purchases.
• Keep counters, floor and service area clean and sanitary.
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately & efficiently.
• Manage the till, count start cash and prepare deposits.
• Handle customer complaints professionally.
• Ensure register is manned and area secured.
• Assist with packaging, pricing and labeling items.
• Ensure coolers are stocked at all times.
• Weekend and holiday shifts may be required.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by manager.
