Job summary

Taher, Inc. is a family-owned, chef-driven food service management company providing K-12 school lunch management, campus dining, senior dining, corporate dining and catering, and vending and office beverage services nationwide.

We are seeking production/packaging professionals to assemble fresh and frozen options for customers nationwide, while maintaining safety standards and quality goals. Opportunities for advancement and a culture of inclusion are emphasized.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous manufacturing/food handling experience preferred.
• Work with speed and accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
• Demonstrate excellent work habits in line with GMPs.
• Perform steady and productive repetitive work for an extended period of time.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds for Production.
• Ability to communicate effectively.
• Successfully pass a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Performs a variety of specialized tasks.
• Properly use tools such as knives, hooks, or other specialized equipment.
• Follow all safety and sanitation procedures and regulations.
• Perform physical tasks that could require constant repetitive motion.
• Maintain and promote a strong safety culture and identify hazards and correct or seek assistance in correcting unsafe actions or conditions.
• Performs other related duties as assigned by leadership.
