Job summary

Fulenwider Group's Piney Flats KFC location is seeking a dependable team member to prepare and cook chicken to order, maintain cleanliness, and uphold safety standards. The role requires early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays with exposure to fast-paced kitchen activity.

You will operate griddles, grills, and fryers as part of a collaborative team. Prior experience is helpful but not required; high school or vocational coursework in kitchen basics is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepares world-famous chicken that is cooked to order or kept warm until ordered and sold.
• Operates large-volume cooking equipment such as griddles, grills, or deep fryers.
• Prepares, washes, and cuts food to be cooked.
• Prepares and cooks food according to instructions provided on food order slips or through verbal directions; verifies the quality and quantity of all orders.
• Maintains overall sanitation, health, cleanliness, and safety standards for food preparation areas, cooking services, and dishes and utensils.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
