Job summary

KFC Mountain City, operated by Fulenwider Group, is seeking a Kitchen Team Member. You will prepare world-famous chicken to order or kept warm, and operate large cooking equipment including griddles, grills, and deep fryers.

Responsibilities include food prep, cooking per orders, quality checks, and maintaining strict cleanliness and safety. Must work early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• High school or vocational coursework in kitchen basics, such as food safety (preferred).
• Ability to learn sanitation rules and food-handling procedures.
• Willingness to operate cooking equipment and follow prep directions.

Responsibilities

• Prepares chicken to order or kept warm for service.
• Operates griddles, grills, and deep fryers.
• Prepares, washes, and cuts food for cooking.
• Cooks according to slips or directions; checks quality and quantity.
• Maintains sanitation and safety standards in prep areas.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
