Job summary

Hardee's is hiring entry-level Cooks who are friendly and enthusiastic and enjoy cooking. Prior customer service experience is a plus but not required. You should thrive in a fast-paced environment and be ready to work irregular hours, including weekends and holidays when needed.

Responsibilities include stocking, food preparation, cleaning, and effective communication with team members and management. High school diploma and ability to stand for long periods are required; 16+ years old.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Friendly, reliable and punctual.
• Physically fit and able to stand for long periods.
• Availability to work irregular hours including weekends.
• Must be at least 16 years old.

Responsibilities

• Stock ingredients from delivery area to work area, walk-in cooler and storage.
• In charge of food preparation.
• Follow daily cleaning schedule.
• Work and communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
• Respond to questions, concerns, and complaints from customers, vendors, or clients.
• Escalate problems or complaints to the supervisor or manager.
• Prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Operate equipment relative to the role.
• Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude.
