Job summary

Pugmire Ford of Cartersville is seeking a dependable Quick Lube Maintenance Technician to join our service team. This hands-on role focuses on routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and fluid services, with opportunities to build automotive skills within a Ford dealership.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of automotive maintenance.
Ford dealership experience or Ford certifications are a plus, but not required.
High school diploma or GED preferred.
Valid driver’s license and ability to operate customer vehicles.

Responsibilities

Perform oil and filter changes and routine maintenance.
Check and top off vehicle fluids as needed.
Perform tire rotations and inspect tire condition and pressure.
Inspect brakes, belts, hoses, filters, and other maintenance items.
Complete multi-point vehicle inspections accurately.
Identify and communicate items that may require additional service or technician attention.
Use shop tools and equipment safely and properly.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
Move and road-test vehicles when necessary.
Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
Work closely with service advisors and technicians to keep vehicles moving through the service department.
