Newark Central School District seeks an Anticipated Math Teacher (Probationary) for a 10-month assignment starting September 2026. The role requires NYSED Mathematics 7-12 certification, fingerprinting, and delivering instruction aligned to NYS standards at the high school level in Newark, NY.
The educator will develop lessons, differentiate for IEPs, monitor progress, and communicate with families, while adhering to APPR guidelines and district policies.

SALARY: Base=$49,275.00 /Year plus stipends for Master’s Degree and Grad Hours and additional benefits as outlined in the NTA Contract
START DATE: September 2026
LOCATION: Anticipated: High School
The Teacher Position is responsible for instruction to their assigned students, follow New York State Learning Standards, build a positive learning environment, attend to student accountability, maintain accurate and reliable records of student progress, and maintain regular communication and outreach to students’ families.

Good knowledge of student development at the appropriate school level. Hold high and clear expectations for students and self. Be able to work effectively with a variety of staff and community groups. Possess a classroom management style which fosters a student effort and accountability. Knowledge of curriculum and the instructional practices. Operate in a respectful, responsible manner.
