HMSHost is seeking a Fast-Food Attendant to perform a variety of duties in a fast food/snack bar setting, including taking orders, operating the register, stocking areas, and assisting in kitchen tasks. The role is non-exempt and requires friendly customer service with up-selling opportunities.

Responsibilities include handling cash, maintaining inventory, ensuring proper food handling and cleanliness, and supporting other team members as directed by management.

Qualifications

• Demonstrates the ability to interact with the public in a friendly, enthusiastic manner.
• Requires the ability to lift/push objects weighing over 40 lbs.
• Ability to bend, twist, and stand for normal job functions.
• Cash handling and customer service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greets customers and takes food order; provides menu information and upsell opportunities.
• Operates cash register and handles payments, gives correct change, adheres to cash policies.
• Cleans and stocks work area.
• Assists in locating, reconciling, and verifying transactions; moves supplies between storage and work areas.
• Assists with kitchen functions as needed.
• Receives inventory, handles food/beverage products, maintains knowledge of unit offerings.
• Ensures proper food handling procedures including labeling, stocking, dating, storing and temperature checks.
• Cleans and sanitizes workstation and equipment.
