Original ChopShop in Richardson, TX is seeking a guest-focused team member for a tipped role within a fast-paced dining environment. You will welcome guests, assist with menu options, and strive to deliver memorable dining experiences with urgency and a smile.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a genuine greeting and provide friendly service.
• Prep and prepare food accurately and help ensure high service standards.
• Deliver food from kitchen to dining room with urgency and a smile.
• Assist guests with menu options and anticipate their needs to exceed expectations.
• Communicate needs clearly to team members and maintain a clean environment.
• Conduct house checks to keep a tidy, well-stocked area and follow food safety practices.
• Work as a brand ambassador across shifts and potentially train in multiple positions.

What you’ll do

• Welcome each guest with a genuine greeting. Be Original. There’s only one you!
• Prep + prepare food accurately
• Ensure that guests are served in our restaurant with the highest level of customer service possible
• Deliver food from the kitchen to the dining room with a sense of urgency, smile, + case for the guests
• Assisting guests with menu options + anticipating their needs to ensure we meet + exceed expectations
• Ensure accuracy when communicating needs to team members + when preparing food
• Conduct table touches a.k.a. “House Checks” to ensure a clean environment
• This position requires knowledge of the menu items + their ingredients + packaging as well as familiarity with the step-by-step procedure for making various food + beverage products
• Team members may be trained in multiple positions including front of the house, guest service, or prep + production
• Working each shift with purpose as a brand ambassador
• Keeping our area clean + stocked
• Follow all food safety + security practices
• Create memorable dining experiences by exceeding guest expectations
