Job summary

Rogers Hornsby is seeking an energetic General Manager to own a high-volume, fast-paced restaurant. This hands-on leader will develop teams, drive results, and create an exceptional guest experience.

You will oversee operations, manage financials, coach staff, uphold food safety standards, and lead from the floor during peak periods. A ServSafe certification and prior GM experience are preferred.

General Manager Requirements & Qualifications:

• Previous General Manager or restaurant leadership experience
• Proven ability to recruit, hire, train, coach, and retain strong restaurant teams
• Strong understanding of restaurant financials, including food cost, labor cost, payroll, sales forecasting, and profitability
• Experience reviewing P&L statements and developing action plans to improve results
• Ability to manage inventory, ordering, and operational controls
• Strong track record of maintaining food safety, cleanliness, and operational standards
• Comfortable holding team members accountable while creating a positive work environment
• Ability to lead from the floor and remain hands‑on during high-volume periods
• Strong communication and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and employment requirements

General Manager Preferred Background & Skills:

• Fast-casual, QSR, or high-volume restaurant leadership experience
• ServSafe certification or willingness to obtain certification
• Experience with local store marketing
• Catering sales and business development experience
• Strong history of improving sales, labor, food cost, and overall restaurant profitability
• Experience building a strong management bench and developing future leaders
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate the restaurant like your own business
