General Function

Provides prompt, efficient, and friendly customer service. Operates cash register accurately, scans products, and maintains store cleanliness, product quality, and inventory.

Reporting Relations

Reports to: District Store Director, Store Manager, Assistant Manager of Store Operations, Perishables, and Health Wellness Home; Fast and Fresh Department Manager; Assistant Fast and Fresh Department Manager

Primary Duties and Responsibilities

• Provides friendly customer service, greeting customers and assisting with their needs.
• Operates cash register, processes transactions, and issues receipts.
• Assists with inventory, stocking shelves, and maintaining store cleanliness.
• Ensures adherence to sanitation and safety standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned to enhance customer experience.

Qualifications

No specific education or experience required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to exert up to 50 pounds occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
• Visual and physical activities including standing, walking, lifting, and reaching.

Working Conditions

Frequent exposure to temperature extremes, dampness, and cleaning chemicals in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

Salary range: $15.00 to $18.75 per hour, depending on experience.
