Job summary

Talbots, Inc. in Springfield, VA is seeking a part-time sales associate to deliver exceptional customer service, highlight fashion trends, and support store operations in a fast-paced retail environment.

You will build client relationships, assist with styling, and contribute to meeting sales targets while working flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays. This role offers merchandise discounts and referral incentives as part of Talbots' benefits for both full-time and eligible part-time

Qualifications

• Demonstrate selling competence and styling expertise.
• Have strong ambition and passion for achieving goals.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and integrity.
• Ability to navigate computer/iPad/handheld system.
• Strong organizational skills and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 40 lbs.
• Flexible availability for 15–20 hours per week, including evenings, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service and promote the product.
• Assist management in building store business.
• Support service enhancers including Concierge.
• Service multiple customers, multitask, and manage projects.
• Stay informed on fashion trends and new arrivals.
• Use product knowledge to create outfits and suggest items.
• Contribute to achieving sales and service metrics.
• Complete operational tasks: filling orders, replenishment, recovery.
