Talbots Gulfport is seeking a part-time Sales Associate to provide an exceptional customer service experience and promote fashion to our customers.

You will assist management in growing the store business, collaborate with the team, and use Concierge to strengthen client relationships. This role requires flexible evenings, weekends, and holidays, with 15–20 hours weekly in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated selling competence and styling expertise with a love of fashion.
• Strong communication skills and ability to navigate multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Comfortable using computer/iPad/handheld systems and working in a diverse team.

Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional customer service experience and promote the product to customers.
• Assist management in building store business and customer relationships.
• Support service enhancers and use Concierge to enhance clienteling.
• Service multiple customers, multi-task, and handle projects simultaneously.
• Stay informed on fashion trends and knowledge of fit, color, and style.
• Create outfits and suggest items to meet customer needs.
• Participate in learning, receive feedback, and aim for sales and service metrics.
• Complete operational tasks like filling orders, replenishment, and recovery.
