Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking an Assistant Manager in California to blend sales strategy with hands-on store operations. You’ll open and close the store, supervise staff, and ensure outstanding customer service while maintaining inventory and visual standards.

You will recruit, train and engage team members, using product knowledge to drive results and shape the customer experience in a fast-paced fashion environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or one year of supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.
• Maintain a strong customer focus and knowledge of fashion trends.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening and closing routines and supervise salesfloor and stockroom.
• Manage staffing, scheduling and payroll operations with accuracy.
• Train and develop non-management staff and drive product knowledge.
• Build visual displays and analyze reports to inform decisions.
• Protect assets, control inventory and operate POS systems.
• Fulfill OMNI Channel orders and uphold brand values on the floor.
