Job summary

Abercrombie & Fitch Co. is seeking an Assistant Manager who blends business strategy with hands-on operations and people leadership. You will open and close the store, supervise the sales floor and stockroom, manage staffing and payroll, and train non-management staff while building product knowledge and brand awareness to drive sales.

You’ll also analyze reports, maintain visual displays, and ensure exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or one year supervisory experience in a customer-facing role.
• Strong customer focus with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to coach and develop non-management staff and balance multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Perform Opening and Closing Routines.
• Supervise salesfloor & stockroom, ensuring excellent customer service & seamless operations.
• Conduct staffing and scheduling operations and payroll management.
• Train and develop the non-management staff.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and brand awareness, while driving sales.
• Build and maintain visual displays.
• Analyze reporting to inform decision making.
• Protect store assets & perform inventory control.
• Operate Register/Point of Sale systems.
• Fulfill OMNI Channel Orders.
