Job summary

Weissman in Saint Louis, MO, invites applications for a Development + Sourcing Intern position as part of our Summer Internship Program. This 10-week program gives students real-world experience in moving ideas from concept to finished product within a leading dance and performance apparel company.

Interns collaborate with Guides and teams focused on raw material development and sourcing, attend weekly meetings, and help maintain the raw materials library while learning about fabric development

Qualifications

• Current college student or May 2027 graduate pursuing a degree related to the internship area

Responsibilities

• Work on a project that takes a style from raw materials to a finished product for the Weissman brand
• Partner with Guides and teams focused on raw material development and sourcing while attending weekly meetings
• Help maintain the raw materials library by filing and organizing headers and lab dips
• Learn about fabric development through fittings, prototype reviews, negotiations, and production schedules
• Manage timelines, complete projects, and present a final project at the end of the internship
