Job summary

Weissman in St. Louis invites current students to join a 10-week Summer Internship in Supply Chain.

You will work on a project turning raw materials into Weissman products, and collaborate with planning, sourcing, purchasing, and logistics teams to gain hands-on experience. You'll analyze sales and forecasts by style and size, support inventory planning, assist with cost analyses, and help keep production on time and budget.

Qualifications

• Current college student or May 2027 graduate pursuing a degree related to the internship area.
• Able to relocate to St. Louis, Missouri for the 10-week summer program.
• Strong interest in fashion, apparel, or related industries with a desire to learn and grow professionally.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to contribute ideas and work effectively in a team environment.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and eager to take on real-world projects in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities

• Work on a project that takes a style from raw materials to a finished product for the Weissman brand
• Partner with Guides and cross-functional teams in Planning, Sourcing, Purchasing, and Logistics, gaining hands-on experience and attending weekly meetings
• Analyze sales data and forecasts by style, color, and size to support trend identification and inventory planning
• Assist with cost analysis, prototype reviews, and production schedules to keep products on time and on budget
• Assist with tracking and updating purchase orders, monitoring shipments throughout transit and updating internal systems with shipment milestones and status information
• Manage timelines, meet internship deadlines, and present a final project to cross-functional partners

Our Summer Internship Program offers students meaningful, real-world experience inside a leading dance and performance apparel company. For more than 60 years, Weissman has brought creativity, innovation, and craftsmanship to the stage, translating inspiration from fashion, performance, and the runway into products worn by performers around the world.

Over 10 weeks, interns work alongside professionals across our business, contributing to real projects and gaining firsthand exposure to how ideas move from inspiration and concept through design, development, marketing, and ultimately into the hands of our customers. Along the way, interns participate in professional development, networking, and experiences designed to broaden their understanding of both the fashion industry and the business behind it.

We view our interns as more than summer team members. They are emerging professionals who will help shape what comes next. Our goal is to give them the experience, relationships, and opportunities to begin building careers of their own while bringing fresh perspectives and new ideas to ours.
