Job summary

Nordstrom Made is offering a 2027 summer internship in Seattle for an Assistant Designer role within the Nordstrom Made design team. The position emphasizes assisting the design team with milestones, meeting prep, and project execution while supporting trend research and cross-divisional collaboration.

Travel/housing are provided during the program; interviews occur in late 2026 with decisions by early 2027. Interns earn $25 per hour for a 10-week program in Seattle, WA.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in Design.
• Strong college portfolio required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite and Adobe CS; able to hand-sketch; adapt to new tech.
• Strong time management and multi-tasking abilities.

Nordstrom is seeking an Assistant Designer to join our Nordstrom Made design team.

We don't just sell cutting-edge fashion and accessories, we create it. Our talented fashion design team — the Nordstrom Product Group — develops, designs, produces and sources 50-plus private Nordstrom labels. From traditional to trendy, this team is shaping the styles and looks our customers love. Successful Interns will also have the opportunity to join Nordstrom full-time upon completion of their degree.

The 2027 summer internship program is 10 weeks long from June 14th - August 20th in Seattle, WA. Travel and housing are sponsored during program participation. Interviews will take place in November 2026. We anticipate hiring decisions being made by January 2027.

The hourly rate is $25.00.

Pay Range Details

$22.75 - $37.50 Hourly
