Qualifications

• Master's or terminal degree in Fashion Design, Apparel Design, Textile and Apparel Design, Costume Design, Technical Design, Fashion Studies, or related discipline, or a bachelor's with substantial professional experience.
• Ability to teach studio-based and applied courses, provide critiques, assess learning, and prepare students for careers.
• Proficiency in required software and design tools; strong portfolio and industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Teach assigned Fashion Design courses following course descriptions and outcomes.
• Develop and maintain course materials, lesson plans, and assessments.
• Provide hands-on instruction in garment construction, patternmaking, and technical design.
• Evaluate student work with timely feedback and maintain records.
• Support program assessment, portfolio development, and industry engagement.
