Job summary

W Magazine in New York City is seeking a Fashion Assistant Fellow to join our NYC office five days per week. You will help with daily tasks, sample trafficking, and support for photo shoots under the guidance of senior assistants.

The Fashion Fellowship runs for 3 months with a potential extension to 6 months, offering 40 hours per week and hands-on exposure to a fast-paced editorial environment.

Qualifications

• Open availability Monday-Friday, 40 hours a week for 3 months.
• Interest in Fashion and Editorial industries.
• Desire to learn and be proactive.
• Motivated to complete tasks and meet deadlines.
• Works well in a team and can balance multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assist with fashion, accessories, and jewelry sample check-ins and returns.
• Pack/unpack trunks of clothing and accessories for photo shoots.
• Arrange shipments for fashion and accessory pick ups/returns.
• Keep fashion and accessories closets organized.
• Assist with general office tasks and support other assistants.
