Meijer Inc. is seeking an entry-level Stocking Clerk in Battle Creek, MI to deliver outstanding customer service and support daily store operations. You will stock shelves, assist customers, and ensure products are organized and available for a great shopping experience.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attentiveness, and reliability, with opportunities for advancement through development programs and paid education assistance. Night shifts help prepare the store for the day ahead.

Qualifications

• Able to learn and use basic technology.
• Organized and efficient in completing tasks.

• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Able to perform physical tasks (lifting up to 50 lbs, standing long hours).

Responsabilités

• Work with leadership to complete areas on time.

What You’ll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience. You’ll:

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back‑room areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly

What You Bring

• You’re comfortable learning and using basic technology
