Meijer Inc. is hiring a Stocking Clerk in the Detroit area. You will stock shelves, move products from pallets to shelves, and help keep the back room organized. The role offers overnight shifts, friendly customer service, and opportunities to grow within a family company.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Follow processes and procedures in an organized, efficient way.
• Stay calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy being part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Able to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, twisting, and standing for long periods.

Responsabilités

• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to complete areas on time.

• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.

What You’ll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience. You’ll:

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations efficiently and accurately
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in designated back‑room areas
• Work closely with leadership to ensure assigned areas are completed on time
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
