Job summary

Meijer Inc. is seeking a Stocking Clerk to provide excellent customer service, maintain stocked shelves, and support daily operations in a fast-paced store environment. You will contribute to a friendly shopping experience and collaborate with store leadership to keep departments organized and efficient.

The role emphasizes hands-on tasks, adherence to processes, and reliability, with opportunities for development within a family-oriented retailer that offers weekly pay and growth programs.

Qualifications

• Comfortable learning and using basic technology.
• Able to follow processes and stay organized and efficient.
• Remain calm and productive in a fast-paced environment.
• Enjoy working as part of a team and supporting shared goals.
• Experience with pallet jacks or forklifts is a plus.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Stock shelves with a variety of food and grocery products.
• Move product from pallets or carts to the correct shelf locations.
• Pull backstock and dispose of cardboard and trash in back-room areas.
• Work closely with leadership to ensure areas are completed on time.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
• Provide friendly, respectful interactions with customers when needed.
• Work overnight shifts to prepare the store for the day ahead.
• Support other tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.

What You’ll Do

As a Stocking Clerk, you play a critical role in keeping our store running smoothly. Your work ensures shelves are fully stocked for our customers to provide an exceptional shopping experience.

You’ll:
