Job summary

H2ajobs in Shelby, MS is seeking workers for manual labor operations including tree removal to reclaim land, digging drainage ditches, installing pipes, and debris cleanup. Housing and meals are provided on site; employer will arrange transportation to stores occasionally.

Applicants must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and obtain a driver's license after hire. One month of recent verifiable experience is required; applicants must speak and understand English and may be subject to random drug

• Pile debris for burning or decomposition and haul off other debris as needed.

Job description

Manual labor including removing trees to reclaim land, digging ditches, installing overfall pipe, improving drainage, removing debris; pile trees and other natural debris for burning or decomposing, haul off and discard other debris; driving farm vehicle to haul off debris. Must speak and understand English.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities, all of which are in working order, including refrigeration, space for food preparation, cooking accessories and utensils, appliances, and dishwashing facilities so that workers may prepare their own meals. Kitchen facilities include adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure. Employer will provide transportation once a week to assure workers access to stores where they can purchase groceries, when the employer is providing cooking and kitchen facilities.

Experience wanted: 1 months

One (1) month of recent and verifiable experience required for the job duties listed. Must be able to obtain appropriate drivers license following hire and obtain clean driving record. Be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Once hired, worker may be required to take a random drug test at no cost to the worker. Testing positive or failure to comply may result in immediate termination from employment.
