H2ajobs in Homer, Nebraska is seeking a farm worker to perform seed cleaning, bagging and general duties on the family farm.

You will handle seed production tasks, operate simple machinery, and assist with transportation to acquire seed supplies. Housing and meals are provided, plus weekly town transport; must be able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and communicate in English.

Qualifications

• 1 month of experience in farm work is required.
• Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire.
• Must be able to speak English and work in extreme temperatures; capable of performing physically demanding tasks.

Clean seeds. Remove dirt, sticks, and leaves from the seeds. Fill and weigh bags. Fill bulk

containers. Clean and maintain seed machines and work area. Drive to town on occasion to

pick up seed supplies. General farm duties where assigned.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Employer-provided housing includes free and convenient kitchen facilities with appropriate equipment, appliances, cooking accessories, and dishwashing facilities for meal preparation. For workers residing in employer-provided housing, employer also provides free transportation once per week to/from closest town or city for personal errands (e.g., groceries, banking services).

Transport: The employer will permit workers to select any means of transportation they choose and provide reimbursement upon arrival at the farm for all inbound and outbound transportation at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distance involved. This may include plane, train, bus, or automobile.

Experience wanted: 1 months

Minimum of 1 months of experience is required. Must be able to obtain a driver's license within 30 days of hire. The worker will be exposed to extreme temperatures. Extensive walking is required. Workers must have positive verifiable experience relevant to the job and be capable of performing physically demanding tasks. Workers must be able to speak English. Employees must adhere to strict biosecurity, company policies, and food safety guidelines, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Certain roles may require a valid drivers license within 30 days of hire and a clean driving record for operating company vehicles. Exceptional performance may be rewarded with additional compensation or benefits at the employers discretion.
