Workers will administer medications, vaccinations, and dewormers as directed by the employer or veterinarian and maintain feeding, treatment, and livestock observation records. Workers will repair fences, check cattle areas for predator tracks, disturbed soil, injured animals, and other evidence of predator activity and promptly report findings. Workers will install, inspect, and repair temporary electric fencing used for livestock rotation and winter feeding areas; move cattle between designated pastures; monitor forage availability, grazing conditions, and muddy or damaged areas; and relocate portable feeders to reduce concentrated trampling. Grounds maintenance will be limited to livestock care areas and will include removing manure and spoiled feed, replacing bedding, collecting debris that could injure cattle, and keeping livestock feeding and watering access areas clear.
