Job summary

H2ajobs in Minnesota seeks dependable workers to assist with snow removal, winterizing equipment, and related farm tasks. You will support cattle operations and help refresh bedding during winter, as well as perform post-harvest duties when season continues.

Applicants should have at least 3 months of farm experience, and if able to obtain a driver's license, may be required to drive for the job. Housing and meals are provided, and transport assistance is available for work-related travel.

Job description

Workers will help with snow removal and winterizing equipment in the winter. During the remainder of the season, workers will help refresh bedding for cattle, haul and store feed for cattle, and help with post-harvest work.

Meals

The employer will furnish free and convenient cooking and kitchen facilities and space for food preparation, as well as the necessary equipment, appliances (including refrigeration), cooking accessories, and dish washing facilities (e.g., adequate sinks with hot and cold water under pressure) that are in working condition and will be used by workers to sufficiently prepare three (3) meals a day. Employer will offer free transportation to town for personal services (i.e. banking, groceries) at least once per week for non range workers.

Transport

The employer will pay the worker for reasonable costs incurred by the worker for transportation and daily subsistence from the place from which the worker has come to work for the employer, whether in the U.S. or abroad to the place of employment (inbound/outbound). The employer will permit workers to select any means of transportation they choose and reimburse workers at no less than the most economical and reasonable common carrier transportation charges for the distances involved.
