Farmers Insurance Agencies is seeking a driven individual to join our Protégé Program as an insurance sales apprentice. You will work closely with a seasoned agent to learn how to sell, solicit, differentiate, and negotiate insurance plans to build your own book of business.

Ideal candidates are motivated to own their own agency someday, with a background in sales or insurance. The program emphasizes hands-on training, licensing support, and performance-driven growth in a mentorship setting.

Qualifications

• Excellent at building rapport and relationships with people.
• Valid Property and Casualty as well as Life and Health insurance licenses required or must be willing to get licensed.
• Proven leadership and communication skills.
• At least one year of experience working in sales or the insurance industry desired.
• Must successfully complete a background check.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with your mentor on confidence and skill-building to gain self-sufficiency as an insurance agent.
• Present prospective customers with the best policy options to meet their needs.
• Maximize upselling and cross-selling opportunities for financial products.
• Hit the outlined business production objectives to meet the agency's financial goals.
• Compile insurance quotes using accurate customer information, data, and rates.
