Metrolina Greenhouses is seeking a Tractor Driver to safely operate farm tractors for loading, supporting production lines, and related tasks. The role requires adaptability to move between teams, a strong safety mindset, and clear communication with colleagues across departments.

Candidates should be comfortable with outdoor work, possess a valid driver's license, and be able to follow instructions precisely while maintaining efficiency and productivity on the farm.

Qualifications

• Experience operating farm tractors or similar heavy equipment is preferred.
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license.
• Ability to follow instructions and perform tasks to company standards.
• Must be dedicated to adhering to safety protocols and practices.
• Good communicator and work well across multiple departments.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate farm tractors to perform various tasks as assigned.
• Efficiently carry out tractor-related duties to contribute to overall farm productivity.
• Complete a daily startup equipment checklist to ensure proper functioning and address any issues promptly.
• Follow instructions provided by Managers and/or Team Leaders to execute tasks accurately and timely.
• Maintain clear and open communication with team members to foster a collaborative work environment.
• Demonstrate a proactive approach and take direction effectively to meet operational goals.
• Other duties as assigned.
