Job summary

Pomp’s Tire Service in Alaska is seeking a Farm Tire Technician to service agricultural and commercial tires outdoors, helping keep fleets safe and vehicles rolling. This role requires on-road tire work, inspections, and independent problem solving in diverse weather conditions.

You will mount/dismount tires, perform roadside repairs, and maintain tools in a clean, organized outdoor setting. Night shifts and overtime are expected, with opportunities for skill growth and career advancement.

Qualifications

• Valid Driver’s License and ability to pass pre-employment driving record check.
• Willingness to work night shifts, overtime, and non-standard hours with minimal supervision.
• Preferred experience with commercial vehicles and general mechanical skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 150 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Respond promptly to roadside service calls to change and replace tires on commercial and agricultural vehicles.
• Perform tire mounting, dismounting, and replacements on the road.
• Conduct tire and vehicle inspections to identify additional issues.
• Maintain organized tools and work environment.
• Work independently in all weather conditions to provide reliable roadside tire service.
• Complete additional tasks to support team operations.
