Job summary

EverGRO is seeking a part-time Farm Store Associate in Louisa, VA. The role focuses on delivering friendly customer service, handling checkout and exchanges, and maintaining an organized showroom.

Responsibilities include assisting with store events, cross-training for warehouse tasks, loading/unloading deliveries, stocking merchandise, and propane bottle filling. Part-time schedule typically 15–20+ hours weekly.

Qualifications

• No minimum education requirement or years of professional experience.
• Prefer six (6) months of experience in a retail environment providing customer service & operating point of sale equipment.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willingness & ability to work during operating hours; Mon-Fri, 8am-6pm, Saturdays, 8am-3pm and Sundays, 9am-3pm.
• Forklift Certification or willingness & ability to obtain the certification through on-the-job training.
• Able & willing to learn to be trained to fill propane tanks.
• Willingness to cross-train to support warehouse responsibilities and assist with deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Provide customers with friendly & efficient service.
• Process check-out, exchange and return transactions using POS equipment.
• Help maintain the store showroom appearance and displays.
• Promote & set-up for store events and displays.
• Cross-train to support warehouse responsibilities including loading/unloading deliveries.
• Fill propane cylinders and replenish merchandise; assist with inventory.
