FARM RETAIL SALES SPECIALIST

Responsibilities- Guest Experience & Sales
- Represent SingleThread’s hospitality ethos through warm, informed guest interactions.
- Assist with farm store sales using the SpotOn system.
- Guide and support guests during CSA box pickups and special farm programming events (tours, workshops).
- Provide knowledgeable responses to guest inquiries; escalate when needed.
- Product Knowledge & Store Management
- Maintain a thorough understanding of artisans, products, farm practices, and company history.
- Order, organize, and restock inventory timely, communicating stock levels and trends to leadership.
- Maintain a clean and aesthetically consistent retail environment aligned with brand standards.
- Communication & Coordination
- Liaise with Farm, Floral, and Retail leadership to anticipate needs and relay feedback.
- Help execute the retail side of farm events, collaborating with other departments.
- Maintain clear communication via digital tools (Slack, Google Suite, etc.).
- Additional Duties
- Uphold cleanliness standards in workspaces and guest areas (including restrooms).
- Follow dress code and professional behavior standards.
- Flex into other responsibilities based on business needs.
Environmental And/Or Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform the essential job functions consistently, safely and successfully with federal, state, and local standards
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 40 pounds
- Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
- Ability to work in a climate that changes with the seasons
- Ability to physically maneuver through work areas; bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms, and hands above shoulder height frequently, climb stairs and steps, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment
