This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is found.######## RESPONSIBILITIES* Assist with all phases of corn and soybean production, from field preparation and planting through harvest.* Operate modern farm equipment, including John Deere and Case equipment and Kinze planters.* Assist with irrigation throughout the growing season.* Perform routine equipment maintenance, servicing, and general repairs.* Assist with all aspects of the 400-head cow/calf operation, including feeding, calving, herd health, processing, and general cattle care.* Maintain fences, facilities, equipment, and other areas of the farm and ranch.* Help prioritize daily work and handle responsibilities independently when the employer is unavailable.* Work wherever needed to keep both the farming and livestock operations running efficiently.######## QUALIFICATIONS* Solid background in production row-crop farming and cow/calf operations.* Experience operating larger farm equipment.* Planting and harvest experience strongly preferred.* Irrigation experience is a plus.* Good mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform routine maintenance and repairs.* Strong cattle-handling skills and a good understanding of cow/calf production.* Dependable, self-motivated, and capable of working without constant supervision.* Good communication skills and willingness to work as part of a small team.* Responsible, trustworthy, and willing to take ownership of the position.* Must be interested in a stable, long-term opportunity.######## COMPENSATION & BENEFITS* **Salary:** Competitive and dependent upon experience.* Employer is prepared to compensate accordingly for an experienced individual capable of taking on significant responsibility.* **Housing available.****ALL INQUIRIES ARE KEPT CONFIDENTIAL.
