Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT Nebraska is seeking a Farm & Ranch Assistant for a diversified Nebraska producer. This role supports both crop production and cow/calf operations on irrigated corn and soybean farms with a commercial cattle component.

The right candidate will be dependable, able to work independently, operate John Deere and Case equipment, manage irrigation, maintain gear, and help with daily tasks to keep farming and livestock operations running smoothly.

Qualifications

• Solid background in production row crop farming and cow/calf operations.
• Experience operating larger farm equipment.
• Irrigation experience is a plus.
• Good mechanical aptitude and cattle handling skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with all phases of corn and soybean production, from field prep to harvest.
• Operate John Deere, Case equipment, and Kinze planters.
• Assist with irrigation throughout the growing season.
• Perform routine equipment maintenance and repairs.
• Assist with cow/calf operations including feeding, calving, herd health, processing, and cattle care.
• Maintain fences, facilities, and equipment; support daily planning and independent work.
