Job summary

You will collaborate with farmers to ensure health, feed, and flock records are accurate, document findings, and provide coaching to improve practices across sites.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with emphasis on relevant field or equivalent.
• 3+ years of experience in quality, agriculture, or food safety.
• Strong attention to detail and documentation.
• Ability to work across farms and with growers.

Responsibilities

• Develops and fosters a positive relationship with growers to attain maximum results.
• Responsible for the overall health and performance of contract turkeys, including monitoring health, performance, feed, and flock records; implements sanitation and pest management programs.
• Verifies and records data, such as weekly mortalities and feed deliveries.
• Identifies and uses discretion to provide feedback during inspection of contract facilities; ensures thorough documentation.
• Provides coaching and training on best management practices and maintains high standards.
• Implements initiatives aimed at improving quality and efficiency based on inspection results.
• Interprets observations and advises management on improvements in policy or procedures.
