The candidate will manage site visits, analyze agricultural operations, and coordinate with tenants and owners to align on crop planning, maintenance, and financial settlements. Strong accounting and Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in agriculture or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Professional licensing and accreditation are required (if unlicensed and/or unaccredited upon hire, new farm managers will pursue both in a timely manner).
• Requires knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Oversee portfolio of farm accounts.
• Secure farm management agreements through prospecting, analysis, and sales.
• Determine goals of farmland owners and implement plans to achieve them.
• Develop and maintain farm lease agreements with qualified farm operators.
• Make site visits to properties to evaluate operations and prepare client reports.
• Review periodic financial reports for submission to clients.
