Job summary

JBS Foods is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support the Live Pork Operation. You will construct, maintain and improve facilities and systems, ensuring safety, quality and productivity in a demanding hog environment.

Responsibilities include installing and repairing feed, ventilation, water, and building components, inspecting facilities, and ordering parts as needed. Strong English and the ability to work up to 59 hours weekly are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Able to read, write, and speak English.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to drive a pickup and pull a trailer.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly, up to 100 lbs on occasion.
• Willingness to work up to 59 hours a week and weekends.
• Able to work in an hog facility and follow safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair feed systems.
• Install, troubleshoot, and repair ventilation systems.
• Install and repair water systems.
• Install and repair building components.
• Inspect facilities and grounds for repairs and perform them.
• Perform routine service on company equipment.
• Follow safety procedures established by JBS.
• Identify and order parts needed for work.
